CAIRO – 8 June 2021: The achievements of the Egyptian state in the cultural field have been ongoing since the success of the June 30 revolution, as part of its vision to restore the Egyptian national identity, which resulted in huge changes in the cultural infrastructure.

 

 

Ratib Seddik Museum

 

The museum is located in Giza Governorate. The project started in 2013 and was completed in 2014. The total cost of establishing the museum is L.E. 21 million.

 

 

 

The area of the Ratib Seddik Museum is 4200 square meters. The center includes a museum containing 146 works of the artist Ratib Seddik, in addition to the works of his wife, the plastic artist Aida Shehata. 

 

 

 

This is in addition to an open theater, a library, seven workshops for traditional handicrafts of leather, ceramics, graphics, drawing and photography, as well as electric furnaces for ceramics, an exhibition hall, children's art workshop center, warehouse building and a cafeteria.

 

 

 

The site is provided with a security and protection system against fires and theft, electricity networks, emergency generators, drainage systems, soil treatment against groundwater factors and moisture.

 

 

 

The project was implemented by the National Service Projects Organization.
