Minister of Tourism&Antiquities meets his Lebanese counterpart to discuss joint cooperation between the two countries

CAIRO - 29 May 2021: Following electing Egypt as president of the Middle East Regional Committee of the World Tourism Organization, and Lebanon as the first vice-chairman of the committee, Dr. Khaled El-Enani held a meeting with Dr. Ramzi Al-Musharrafieh, Lebanese Minister of Tourism.
 
They discussed developing an action plan during the coming period to maximize the benefit of the joint cooperation between the countries in the region. In addition to promoting and revitalizing tourism and achieving integration among countries of the region, as they  share the same language,  culture, and close customs and traditions.
 
The talks also touched on strengthening means of cooperation between Egypt and Lebanon in the field of tourism and archeology, and promoting tourism between the two countries.
 
The meeting was attended by Ambassador Ahmed Farouk, Egypt's Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Ms Yomna Al-Bahar, Assistant Minister of Tourism and Antiquities of Egypt for Technical Affairs, and Mr Abdel Mohsen Shafei, Supervisor of the Central Administration for Public and International Relations at the Egyptian Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities.
