Egypt’s Minister of Tourism and Antiquities Khaled El Enany meets with Emirati Minister Ahmed Bahlul to discuss ways of cooperation between the two countries

CAIRO - 17 May 2021: Dr. Khaled El-Enany, Minister of Tourism and Antiquities and Pilot Mohammed Manar, Minister of Civil Aviation, met today with Dr. Ahmed Balhul Falasi, Minister of Business and Small and Medium Enterprises in charge of tourism in the UAE, to discuss ways of cooperation between the two countries in the field of tourism and aviation.
 
This meeting was held during the participation of the Ministers of Tourism, Antiquities, and Civil Aviation in the 28th edition of the Arabian Travel Market ATM 2021, held from May 16-19 in Dubai, UAE.
 
During the meeting, the UAE Minister thanked the two ministers for Egypt's participation in the ATM 2021. He congratulated  Dr. Khaled El-Enany on the success of the Pharaoh's Golden Parade, which was an extraordinary event praised by the world.
 
The meeting discussed the experience of the countries of Egypt and the United Arab Emirates in containing the Coronavirus crisis and its repercussions and the efforts made to recover the tourism sector.  Dr. Khaled El-Enany pointed out that the two countries adopted the same approach and policy in resuming tourism in their country in light of the repercussions of this crisis, where they were able to keep the industry going and maintain the health and safety of workers in the sector, citizens and tourists.
 
pilot Mohammed Manar, Minister of Civil Aviation, said that Egyptian airports apply hygiene safety regulations and preventive measures recommended globally by international health and aviation organizations.  He conveyed a message of reassurance about the safety of precautionary measures that take place at Egyptian airports and Egyptian airlines to reduce the spread of coronavirus and provide a safe travel trip for all guests of Egypt.
