Nout Art Gallery in Zamalek hosts ‘Ramadan in Nout’ exhibition until May 13

CAIRO – 15 April 2021: Nout Art Gallery in Zamalek continues to display the artworks participating in the "Ramadan in Nout" exhibition, which launched on April 10 and will run until May 13.

 

 

 

The exhibition opens daily from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. for one week. The following week, the gallery will open from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.

 

 

 

Artist Lamia el-Sayed presents a number of distinguished pieces among the participating works in the exhibition. Her exhibited works include sketches of yoga movements in different poses; and a painting of a cat, which is inspired by the movements of her cat while he sleeps, in addition to two paintings about the angel Cupid, the goddess of love in the ancient Greece. 

 

 

 

“The idea exhibition aims to transform the artwork into something used in our lives,” said El-Sayed.

 

 

 

“My participating works are paintings of yoga movements and a cat painting, in addition to my participation in a wooden work for tea cup seats. Some are in the shape of towers and others are in the shapes of cats in different positions,” continued El-Sayed.
