CAIRO – 4 April 2021: Foreign Affairs Minister of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al-Nahyan, commented on the celebration of the Pharaohs’ Golden Parade, which was held in Egypt on April 3, with three expressive words.

“Egypt renews its beauty,” commented Al-Nahyan on his official Twitter account. With his tweet, Al-Nahyan attached a clip showing the start of the royal procession embarking from the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir Square heading to the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization in Fustat.

Upon their arrival to their final resting destination, the royal mummies were received with 21 cannon rounds in the presence of Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.

The procession was preceded by ancient Egyptian war chariots with the playing of military music.

The Pharaohs’ Golden Parade is considered one of the most important events in the field of tourism and antiquities in Egypt. It witnessed the transfer of mummies belonging to 18 kings and 4 queens who ruled ancient Egypt.
