CAPMAS: 23.4% increase in cost of treatment at state expense in 2019

CAIRO - 22 February 2021: Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS) showed 23.4 percent increase in the costs of treatment at the expense of the state in 2019 compared with the rates of 2018.

The number of the patients who were treated at the expense of the state reached 3.625 million in 2019 with a total cost of LE 10.375 billion in comparison to 2.632 million patients in 2018 with the cost of LE 8.410 billion, CAPMAS said in its annual bulletin on the statistics of the health services in 2019 on Monday.
