Finance Ministry auctions T-bills worth LE 16B

CAIRO - 14 February 2021: The Ministry of Finance auctioned treasury bills at a total value of EGP 16 billion.

In an online statement released on Sunday, the ministry said it sold 91-day T-bills worth LE 5 billion with average yield of 12.733 percent, adding it accepted bids at rates between 12.001 percent and 12.789 percent.
 

The ministry added that 273-day T-bills worth LE 11 billion were offered, with average yield of 13.178 percent, noting that it accepted bids at rates between 13.001 percent and 13.21 percent.
