Finance minister says state serious about combating tax evasion

CAIRO - 26 January 2021: Minister of Finance Mohamed Maait has affirmed that the state is serious about combating all forms of tax evasion in line with the law to ensure tax justice and collect due duties according to legal measures.  

In a ceremony to honor Salah Mohamdy, head of the Public Taxes Mission Corporations, the minister thanked the tax officers who expose corruption and reject bribes .

He appreciated the support of those who cooperate with the ministry to protect the state public funds and highlight the upright principles that maintain the rights of the state.
