Planning min.: Egypt appreciates economic experiment of S.Korea

CAIRO - 6 January 2021: Minister of Planning Hala Said said Egypt is looking forward to promoting economic cooperation with South Korea, hailing the economic experiment in South Korea.

This came in a statement issued on Wednesday by the Ministry of Planning about the meeting between Said and South Korean Ambassador to Egypt Hong Yin Wook.
 

During the meeting, Said reviewed the efforts exerted by the ministry, especially during the coronavirus crisis, as well as Egypt Vision 2030.
 

Said also tackled the action plan of Egypt's Sovereign Fund, underlining the fund's keenness on engaging in partnerships with the private and foreign sectors.
 

She called on Korean investors to cooperate with the fund in various domains.
 

For his part, the Korean ambassador hailed the achievements realized by Egypt over the past year.
 

He underscored keenness on enhancing cooperation with Egypt in various domains, noting there are continued contacts between the political leaderships of both countries.
