Egypt, World Bank discuss cooperation

CAIRO - 25 November 2020: Minister of Trade and Industry Neven Gamea held talks with a delegation of the World Bank via the video conference on economic reform measures in Egypt.

Gamea said that Egypt achieved progress in the field of economic reform which helped boost the status of the Egyptian economy on the international economic map, according to a statement issued by the ministry on Wednesday.
 

She added that Egypt is keen on enhancing cooperation with the World Bank in all programs and joint development projects especially those of green economy and energy.
 

The World Bank delegates confirmed that reform programs in Egypt over the past period contributed to improving the Egyptian economy indicators.
