The Cabinet's Information and Decision Support Center (IDSC) issued an infographic tackling the choice of Egypt to enter the FutureBrand Country Index classification. The index includes 75 countries worldwide according to the GDP as per the latest World Bank rankings.
In the index issued by FutureBrand in November 2020, Egypt ranked 54th globally compared to being the 55th in 2019 out of 75 countries.
The infographic highlights that the FutureBrand Country Index measures the attractiveness and influence of countries and their ability to build a strong brand for themselves. It also evaluates the individuals' desire to visit, live, invest, or purchase products and services from a country in addition to its management of the COVID-19 crisis.
The index classifies the countries according to 6 main dimensions: Tourism, Made in, Heritage and Culture, Value System, Business Potential, and Quality of Life.
The Made In dimension evaluates a country's quality of products, their uniqueness and the individuals demand on them. Regarding Tourism, it evaluates the factors of attraction, value for money, tourism demand, resorts and lodging options and food.
As for Heritage and Culture, the dimension focuses on the heritage, the important historical monuments, art, culture and natural beauty. Moreover, the Value System dimension tackles freedom of speech, tolerance and environmental friendliness, while, the Business Potential dimension focuses on good infrastructure and the use of advanced technology
Lastly, the Quality of Life dimension evaluates healthcare, education, standard of living, safety, residency and studying options.
