CAIRO, Oct 20 (MENA) – Egyptian Ambassador to Senegal Noha Khedr has met with the chairman of the Chambre de Commerce d'Industrie et d'Agriculture de Dakar (CCIAD) to discuss means of boosting economic cooperation between the two countries.

The meeting also took up ways to enhance trade exchange between Cairo and Dakar, the Foreign Ministry here said in a statement Tuesday.

At the end of the meeting, the Senegalese official offered Khedr the memorial shield of the CCIAD.

Egypt’s investments in Senegal are mainly in the fields of tourism, infrastructure, solar energy and fisheries.
