Egypt offers 1.6K industrial units divided upon 7 zones

CAIRO - 18 October 2020: Minister of Trade and Industry Nevine Gamea offered on Sunday 1,657 units varying in surface area at seven industrial zones to young and small investors for both sale and leasing upon the directives of President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi.

 

The units offered are fully finished, and have got utilities introduced, fire alarm systems, and security.

 

The application fee ranges between LE300 and LE500, and the forms are available at the Industrial Complexes Authority and the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises Development Authority (MSMEDA) until November 2, 2020. For further information, investors can call the hotline of the former 19780 or the latter 16733. 

 

Each of the seven zones has office buildings, showrooms, mosques, stores and supermarkets, a bank, a restaurant, and a cafeteria. Also, every zone is specialized in a different type of industry. The industrial complexes are located near railway stations, ports, large markets, and labor residencies.

 

The minister noted that MSMEDA will help investors with issuing licenses, and acquiring funding to finance the purchase of machinery and equipment.

 

The ministry is offering:

204 units at Alexandria’s Margham 2 complex specialized in plastics. The surface area of each is 133 square meters.

 

218 units at the Red Sea’s Hurghada Complex specialized in food, engineering, chemical, garment, home accessories, and building decorative materials industries. The surface area of each is 336 cubic meters.

 

611 units at Gharbia’s Al Mahala Al Kubra Complex specialized in chemical, engineering, home accessories, and garment industries. The surface area of each is 48 square meters.

 

266 units in Beni Suef’s Bayad Al Arab Complex specialized in engineering, food, chemical, and metal industries. The surface areas available are 432 square meters, 540 square meters, and 648 square meters.

 

68 units in Menya’s Matahra Complex specialized in engineering, food, and chemical industries. The surface areas available are 432 square meters and 792 square meters.

 

178 units in Sohag’s Western Girga Complex housing multiple types of industries. The surface areas available are 612 square meters, and 648 square meters.

 

206 units in Luxor’s Al Baghdadi Complex specialized in food, engineering, chemical, garment, home accessories, and building decorative materials industries. The surface areas available are 383 square meters and 432 square meters.
