CAIRO - 27 August 2020: The Egyptian Businessmen Association (EBA) coordinated efforts with the Bahrain Businessmen's Association (BBMA) to arrange the first Egyptian-Bahraini digital investment forum via video conference on September 8.

The forum - under the theme of investment opportunities in Egypt and Bahrain - will tackle investment opportunities as well as means of promoting economic cooperation in the coming period.

Senior state officials, ambassadors, heads of businessmen associations and experts in the investment, financial, banking, real estate and industrial scores will take part in the event.

EBA Board Chairman Ali Eissa said the forum will be held in a crucial timing in order to boost trade and industry and lure investments in the aftermath of the coronavirus economic crisis.

Egyptian Ambassador to Bahrain Yasser Sh'aban said the embassy's working plan is meant to increase the volume of trade exchange between the two countries to dlrs 500-600 million, incentivizing investments, especially in the fields of tourism, electricity, energy, water desalination, medical services and petrochemicals.
