CAIRO – 20 August 2020: Executive Director of the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones (GAFI) Mohamed Abdel Wahab met Wednesday with Deputy Chairman of UAE mission in Cairo and Chargé d'Affaires of the UAE embassy in Cairo Mariam Khalifa el Kaabi.

 

During the meeting, Kaabi lauded the strong relations between both sides, highlighting the important role of the GAFI in facilitating the work of the UAE businessmen.

 

He further stressed that “the Egyptian market is promising and investment-attractive.”

 

Both sides took up the investment opportunities that the UAE companies can pump in the Egyptian market.

 

For his part, Abdel Wahab lauded the trust of the UAE businessmen in Egypt in light of the distinguished relations between Egypt and the UAE at the different levels.

 

GAFI director also pointed that UAE occupies the first rank among Arab countries that invest in Egypt.

 

He ensured GAFI’s keenness to increase cooperation with the Emirati side through more promotional activities to the investment opportunities in Egypt in cooperation with the Egyptian-UAE business council.
