Banque Misr: 15% -yield saving certificates posted gains of LE17.2B in 2 weeks

CAIRO - 5 April 2020: Chairman of Banque Misr Mohamed el Etrebi said on Sunday the new saving certificates issued by the bank of 15-percent monthly return garnered LE 17.2 billion in two weeks.

Speaking to MENA, he said the bank continues to issue the high-yield certificates electronically in line with the government's efforts to reduce large gatherings to curb the outbreak of coronavirus.

He made clear that the certificates are only available online either through the call center or online banking application.
