Mixed performance for dollar price at Egypt's major banks

CAIRO - 24 February 2020: The US dollar's performance was mixed during transactions on Monday at Egypt's major banks.

The dollar exchange rate at the Central Bank of Egypt remained stable at LE 15.49 for buying and LE 15.59 for selling, losing about 50 piasters since the start of 2020.

The same exchange rate for the dollar was recorded at Bank Audi, Commercial International Bank and the Arab African International Bank.

At Banque Misr, the dollar rate stood at LE 15.51 for buying and LE 15.61 for selling.

The dollar exchange rate was up by one piaster at the United Bank of Egypt, registering LE 15.49 for buying and LE 15.59 for selling.

At the National Bank of Egypt the dollar exchange rate went down by two piasters, recording LE 15.51 for buying and LE 15.61 for selling.
