Housing Ministry, ACWA Power sign MoU

CAIRO - 12 February 2020: Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli attended Wednesday the signing of a memorandum of understanding on having ACWA Power Company set up a feasibility study on water desalination projects using electric power produced from renewable energy, including solar and wind energy or a mix of both.

The memorandum is to be presented to the Ministry of Housing and the Egyptian Electricity Holding Company.

The company has been chosen as being one of the pioneering and specialized ones in implementing and developing sea water desalination and power plants operated by renewable energy sources.
