Finance Ministry: LE 7B initial surplus in state budget in 3 months

CAIRO - 19 December 2019: The Finance Ministry said the 2019/2020 state budget has realized an initial surplus of LE 7.1 billion in the period from July to September.

In a report on Thursday, the ministry said total revenues stood at LE 173 billion within the three months, with tax revenues registering LE 131 billion.

The report said the total spending recorded LE 303.3 billion in the three months.
