NBE, Banque Misr sign EGP 1.8 bln protocol to revamp Ring Road

CAIRO - 19 December 2019: The National Bank of Egypt (NBE) and Banque Misr signed Wednesday a cooperation protocol with the General Authority for Roads, Bridges and Land Transport (GARBLT) on revamping part of the Ring Road in Cairo.

Minister of Transport Kamel el Wazir witnessed the signing of the three-year protocol, which comes as part of the two banks' contribution to developing the transport sector in Great Cairo.

The 1.8-billion-pound project is planned to develop part of the Ring Road linking between Mariotia and Autostrad.
