Dollar exchange rate down at Egypt's major banks

CAIRO, Dec 15 (MENA) - The US dollar exchange rate fell back during Sunday's transactions at Egypt's major banks.

The dollar value has dropped by more than EGP 1.75 pounds since the start of 2019.

At the National Bank of Egypt and Banque Misr, the dollar rate declined four piasters, recording EGP 16.05 for buying and EGP 16.15 for selling.

The dollar rate also decreased two piasters at the Commercial International Bank, registering EGP 16.05 for buying and EGP 16.15 for selling as well as the Arab African International Bank.

At the National Bank of Greece, the dollar price also went down two piasters, registering EGP 16.05 for buying and EGP 16.15 for selling.

The dollar price stood at EGP 16.03 for buying and 16.13 for selling at the United Bank.
