CAIRO - 24 October 2019: Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli said on Thursday President Abdel Fatah El Sisi attaches importance to setting up integrated logistic warehouses for drugs and medical supplies.

The move comes as part of the country's tireless efforts to secure a strategic stockpile of pharmaceuticals and medical supplies at all government bodies to be sufficient from two to four months.

Madbouli gave the remarks during a meeting with Health Minister Hala Zayed, Public Business Sector Minister Hisham Tawfik and director of El Galaa Medical Complex Baha el Din Zidan.

The meeting tackled the location of the warehouses that will be set up, including one serving Cairo and the Administrative Capital, one for Alexandria, Matrouh and El Alamein in addition to three others serving Canal cities, central Delta, North upper Egypt and South Upper Egypt.
