BERLIN - 28 June 2019: Chairman of the Executive Board of Germany’s machine tool company DMG Mori Christian Thönes said Egypt is on the right track toward industrial competition, noting that Cairo is important for his company, especially in light of its chairmanship of the African Union.

In statements to MENA and Al Ahram Gate, Thönes described as “very important” Egypt-Germany cooperation and future chances for cooperation in light of Egypt’s status in the world and inside Africa.

The great efforts exerted by Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi have led to Egypt’s stabilizing and growing development, particularly at the economic and development levels, he added.

Meanwhile, he said DMG Mori has been in Egypt for about 50 years, noting that the German company has 3,500 contractors inside Egypt
