NEW DELHI, June 25 (MENA) - Egyptian exports to India rose by 41 percent in 2018 to stand at dlrs 1.7 billion against dlrs 1.2 billion in 2017, the Egyptian ambassador to India said.

Heba el Marasi said Egyptian exports to India had for the first time included citrus and textiles. Egypt also exports to India synthetic textiles, ammonia fertilizers,

She added that Egyptian imports from India also upped by 12 percent in 2018 in comparison with 2017. Egypt imports fuel, chemical pharmaceuticals, meats, dairy products and cooking oil.
