STUTTGART - 24 June 2019: President Abdel Fatah al Sisi is keen on turning Egypt into an international industrial base not only in the Middle East and Africa, but in the whole world, his prime minister has said.

Mostafa Madbouli, in press statements earlier Monday, said a deal was sealed under which Bosch Global would establish its first industrial complex in Egypt in the 10th of Ramadan City.

The meeting with officials from Bosch Global was held on the sidelines of an Arab-German economic forum.

Bosch officials believe Egypt could very well be one of its six important centers worldwide, Madbouli said.

The complex should secure jobs for Egyptian youth, the premier said, putting the volume of Bosch production in Egypt, as provided by the company, at over 1.6 million units per year.

He said the director of the company voiced Bosch's interest in investing in Egypt, which could be their gate to the Middle East and Africa.
