Dollar prices stable at major Egyptian banks

CAIRO, June 23 (MENA) - The exchange rate of the US dollar was relatively stable during transactions on Sunday at major banks, after a wave to declines witnessed over the past period that have caused the price of the dollar to drop by 125 piasters since the beginning of 2019.

The dollar exchange rate settled at EGP 16.65 for buying and EGP 16.75 for selling at the National Bank of Egypt and Banque Misr.

The rate stood at EGP 16.64 for buying and EGP 16.74 for selling at the Commercial International Bank (CIB).

At the Arab African International Bank, the dollar recorded EGP 16.65 for buying and EGP 16.75 for selling.

The rate went down one piaster at Bank of Alexandria to record EGP 16.65 for buying and EGP 16.76 for selling.

The dollar price registered EGP 16.65 for buying and EGP 16.70 for selling at the National Bank of Greece.
