Egyptian-Indonesian business council sign deal to boost trade exchange

CAIRO - 2 MAy 2019: The Egyptian and Indonesian heads of the Egyptian-Indonesian business council signed an agreement for activating bilateral trade exchange.

The council will convene annually to review the latest trade developments in the two countries.

During the inauguration of the Egyptian-Indonesian business forum in Indonesia on Thursday, Egyptian Ambassador in Jakarta Amr Moawad said the forum is a major step for promoting trade cooperation between the two sides.

Sherif el Gabali, the head of the Egyptian side in the Egyptian-Indonesian business council, urged Indonesian companies to inject more investments into Egypt in view of investment-encouraging laws.

The head of the Indonesian side hailed the depth of bilateral ties, underlining the importance of investment and economic cooperation between the two sides.
