Molla: Expanding operation, maintenance services to maximize value added of petroleum wealth

CAIRO -25 March 2019: Petroleum Minister Tarek el Molla stressed the importance of expanding activities in the operation and maintenance services in the refining and petrochemical projects using the latest technologies to help increasing production rates and maximizing the value added of petroleum wealth.

This came at a General Assembly Meeting of the Egyptian Projects Operation and Maintenance (EPROM) to endorse the performance report for 2018.

In a statement on Monday, Mulla called for focusing on projects related to engineering inspection, technical support services and training in the field of improving electricity efficiency for companies affiliated to the petroleum sector.

Speaking at the meeting, EPROM Chairman and CEO Amgad el Ahmadi said that his company achieved the highest performance rates in its various sites.

He further underlined that EPROM managed to raise the efficiency of production units at the Middle East Oil Refinery (MIDOR).
