Petroleum min.: Great leap achieved in oil transportation system

CAIRO, March 23 (MENA) - Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Tareq el Molla said the oil sector continues the implementation of new action plans that aim to improve the efficiency of transportation and distribution system of petroleum products in order to fulfill domestic needs.

The minister made the remarks during a general assembly meeting of the Nile Company for Petroleum Marketing to endorse the business outcomes for 2018, the ministry said in a statement on Saturday.

Molla asserted that the transportation and distribution system of petroleum products has witnessed a quantum leap nationwide over the past few years, which he said has contributed to the oil market stability.

Meanwhile, the minister urged taking all security, safety and environmental protection measures while transporting and unloading fuels from warehouses to supply stations.
