Egypt, AfDB discuss boosting cooperation in different developmental domains

CAIRO - 6 MArch 2019: Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli asserted Egypt's keenness on increasing the volume of cooperation with the African Development Bank (AfDB) during the coming stage in the different development fields.

This came during Madbouli's meeting with a bank delegation in the presence of Minister of Investment and International Cooperation Sahar Nasr.

Madbouli pointed out to a meeting he held with AfDB president on the sidelines of Davos forum that tackled proposals to increase technical cooperation with the African countries in the domains of investing in the human capital and digital transformation.

Madbouli lauded the constructive cooperation between Egypt and AfDB to implement a number of important infrastructure projects in the fields of electricity, sanitation and developing slums.

Meanwhile, the AfDB delegates praised the successful reforms implemented in Egypt during the past few years within the framework of the Egyptian economic and social reform program.
