Maait holds meetings on fringe of Egypt-South Korea strategic dialogue

CAIRO - 24 February 2019: Finance Minister Dr Mohamed Maait will hold several meetings during the Egypt-South Korea strategic dialogue, slated for Monday in Seoul.

The three-day meetings will tackle investment opportunities and ways to develop economic relations and increase direct investment rates between the two countries, according to a statement by the Finance Ministry here on Sunday.

Maait is scheduled to hold talks with South Korean Prime Minister Lee Nak-yeon and his counterpart Hong Nam-ki on means of promoting economic cooperation between Egypt and South Korea and review the successful economic reform steps taken by Egypt recently.

The minister will also meet with a number of South Korean officials and heads of major banks in the country for talks on the latest economic developments in Egypt, the statement added.
