CAIRO -16 January 2018: Cairo is set to host the 4th session of the Egyptian-Kuwaiti Cooperation Council on February 10, with the participation of representatives from both sides topped by Chairman of the Egyptian side Moataz el Alfi and Mohammad Jassem Al-Saqer of the Kuwaiti side.

The meetings will discuss the promising investment sectors in Egypt and obstacles facing Kuwaiti investors along with the investment map that was announced by the Egyptian government.

In a statement on Wednesday, Alfi said that the fourth session of the council represents a great opportunity for fostering economic cooperation between Egypt and Kuwait, highlighting the brotherly ties binding both countries.

Alfi described the meeting as a powerful platform to consolidate relations between the Egyptian and Kuwaiti businessmen and investors so that they would get acquainted with the investment priorities and opportunities available in both countries.

For his part, the chairman of the Kuwaiti side pointed out to the great momentum that has been witnessed in cooperation between both countries on the economic and trade levels, noting that Kuwait's investments in Egypt amount to $2.8 billion.
