CAIRO - 2 January 2019: The Ministry of Finance will auction treasury bills and bonds at a total value of EGP 181.5 billion during January.

In a statement released Tuesday, the ministry said 91-day and 182-day T-bills worth EGP 42.5 and 43.75 billion, respectively, will be auctioned in January.

Also, 273-day and 364-day T-bills worth EGP 42.5 and 46 billion, respectively, will be auctioned during the same month, it added.

Meanwhile, the ministry said it would auction during January 3-year treasury bonds (maturing in December 2021), 5-year bonds (maturing in October 2023), 7-year bonds (maturing in August 2025) and 10-year bonds (maturing in November 2028) at EGP 1.75, 2.25, 1.25 and 1.5 billion, respectively.
