CAPMAS: Inflation rate in Oct. increased by 2.8% compared to Sept.

CAIRO - 10 November 2018: The Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS) on Saturday said that the inflation rate for last month increased by 2.8 percent compared to September.

In its monthly report, CAPMAS attributed this increase to a hike in the prices of vegetables by 13.2 percent and education fees by 15.1 percent.

The inflation rate at the annual level reached last month 17.5 percent compared to 31.8 percent in October last year, added the report.
