CAIRO - 20 September 2018: The remittances of Egyptian expatriates in the UAE rose to AED 2.4 billion in the second quarter of 2018, compared to 2.1 in the first quarter of the same year, said a report received by the Manpower Ministry.

The report, issued by the UAE Central Bank, showed that the amount of foreign workers' remittances hit AED 87.9 billion in the first half of 2018, versus AED 43.5 billion in the first quarter of the same year

The Egyptians' remittances reached AED 2.4 billion in the second quarter of 2018, the report added.
