CAIRO- 13 September 2018: The Planning Ministry’s “Rowad 2030” project for entrepreneurship has launched an awareness-raising campaign to promote the culture of entrepreneurship.

The three-day event is held at the education center at Gezira Club in Cairo.

In a released statement on Thursday, Planning Minister Hala el Saeed said that this initiative has been launched firstly in Luxor and Ismailia governorates before being launched in Cairo with the aim of reaching out to more than 30,000 preparatory school students.

This campaign depends on holding training courses to the teachers of public preparatory schools to train them on promoting the intellectual ideology and raise the children’s awareness of entrepreneurship, with the aim of preparing a creative and innovative generation, the minister said.

The move falls within the framework of the government’s plan which seeks building the capacity of the youths and upgrading their entrepreneurial skills, Saeed added.

For her part, Director of “Rowad 2030” Program Ghada Khalil said that the project has been established with an aim to empower the youth to set up their own enterprises as well as promote the role of entrepreneurship in developing the national economy and diversifying sources of income.
