CAIRO - 18 July 2018: Minister of Planning Hala el Saeed on Wednesday held several sessions of talks on the sidelines of her participation in a high-level political forum on sustainable development that is held at the United Nations premises in New York.

She met with Minister of Environment and Water Resources of Singapore Masajos Zul-Kafil, said a Planning Ministry statement.

The two sides discussed means of exchanging know-how in sustainable development activities and the management of financial resources, added the statement.

She also met with Swiss Environment, Energy and Transport Minister Doris Loutard to review means of benefiting from the Swiss experience in the field of green economy, according to the ministry's statement.

The meeting took up also means of benefiting from the Swiss know-how in the domain of coordinating among the government, civil society and the private sector to meet the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development .

Saeed also met with a delegation from the Mexican presidential office and discussed means of enhancing joint cooperation for achieving the goals of sustainable development especially in provincial areas, added the statement.

The high-level political forum, which started on July 9, is held annually at the ministerial level to discuss topics related to sustainable development.
