CAIRO - 17 July 2018: Minister of Planning Hala el Saeed on Tuesday reviewed Egypt's sustainable development strategy until 2030 at a high-level political forum on sustainable development now in session in New York.

Saeed is representing Egypt at the forum that is held at the United Nations premises as of July 9 through 18, according to a press release by the Ministry of Planning.

The forum is set to discuss the goals of sustainable development (SDGs) during which up to 47 countries will review their national plans and policies to realize the SDGs, otherwise known as the Global Goals to end poverty, protect the planet and ensure that all people enjoy peace and prosperity.

The Egyptian minister is taking part in several activities of the forum to expound the Egyptian sustainable development strategy.

The forum is held annually under the auspices of the UN Economic and Social Council.
