First franchise forum in Upper Egypt to be held in March

CAIRO – 7 March 2018: The first Franchise Gate Forum for Investment and Commercial Agencies in Upper Egypt launches on March 10 in Assuit.

This forum comes to support small and medium enterprises in Assiut city, under the patronage of Minister of Investment and International Cooperation Sahar Nasr, Chamber of Commerce in Assiut and Assiut Businessmen Association.

The forum's slogan is “Yes, Opportunity is here for you- There is Investment in Upper Egypt”.

Chairman of Franchise Gate Forum Marawan Abdel Razik said that the forum aims to provide Upper Egypt’s citizens with new opportunities and work areas.

Abdel Razik added that the forum targets all governorates of Upper Egypt and includes a large number of companies operating in Egypt that want to expand in southern and Upper Egypt.

Chairman of Assiut Investors Association and member of the Upper Egypt Investment Development Committee, Ali Hamza, stressed that the selection of Assiut to be the third station of the Franchise Gate is an opportunity for Upper Egypt’s citizens to invest in brands with the support of some Egyptian banks.

Hamza welcomed the spread of the franchise concept in Upper Egypt through launching several small and medium enterprises via commercial agencies in the forum throughout the cities of Upper Egypt, which are considered a fertile environment for investment during the current stage.

After the success of Egypt’s Franchise exhibition in 2014, the first Franchise Gate Forum was held in Cairo in February 2017, and the second edition of the forum was held in Mansoura city in September 2017.
