CAIRO – 27 April 2017: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) indexes showed mixed performance during Thursday’s trading session, with the benchmark EGX30 index losing ground, hurt by selling pressures on CIB, the index’s heaviest constituent.

The EGX30 dipped 01.15 percent to hit at 12,527 points after the CIB slipped 1.85 percent.

The small and mid-cap enterprises index (EGX70) was almost flat, adding a slight 0.07 percent to close at 587 points.

In turn, the all-embracing EGX100 was down 0.13 percent, registering 1,352 points.

Market capitalization shed about 3.3 billion EGP ($183.3 million) after transactions recorded 655.1 billion EGP. The market turnover totaled one billion EGP and foreign investors were the sole net buyers.
