CAIRO - 31 January 2018: Public Enterprise Minister Khaled Badawi discussed on Wednesday with head of the Suez Canal Authority and the General Authority for Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZone) Mohab Mamish ways of developing cooperation and increasing investments in the Suez Canal Development Corridor.

Badawi expressed the keenness of the ministry through the Holding Co. For Maritime & Land Transport on taking part in the Suez Canal Development Corridor as considered one of the promising development projects in Egypt.

Talks tackled the possibility of allocating part of quays in East Port Said harbor to one of the companies affiliated with the Holding Co. For Maritime & Land Transport to provide logistic services, according to a statement by the Public Enterprise Ministry.

Mamish welcomed any cooperation with the Holding Co. For Maritime & Land Transport, lauding its high-level performance and distinguished technical and logistic capabilities
