CAIRO – 9 April 2017: A delegation of U.S. investors has arrived in Cairo, Minister of Investment and International Cooperation Sahar Nasr said.

It's the first delegation of U.S. investors to visit Egypt since President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi returned from Washington, Nasr told reporters Sunday on the sidelines of her visit to the Egyptian Exchange headquarters.

The minister noted that a meeting with them is scheduled for Sunday, during which investment opportunities will be reviewed.

The delegation comprises investors from the fields of energy, renewable energy, transport and technology, she noted.

On April 1, President Sisi paid a five-day official visit to the U.S. at the invitation of President Donald Trump. The two presidents held joint talks at the White House on several issues of mutual concern.

Sisi also visited the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, where he met with representatives of major companies as well as prominent figures in the U.S.
