PORT SAID, Egypt - 12 Sep 2017: Chairman of the Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZone) Mohab Mamish arrived Tuesday in Munich as part of his tour of Germany leading a high-level delegation from the SCZone.

The visit aims to promote the zone, showcase the investment opportunities in the Suez Canal Axis development project and continue the talks he held with representatives of German companies during his visit to the European country in June, the SCZone general authority said in a Tuesday statement.

Mamish, also serving as the head of the Suez Canal Authority, held talks on Monday with chairman of the Hamburg Port Authority Jens Meier on means of developing ports, given that the Hamburg Port is a key European port.

The two sides discussed ways to boost bilateral cooperation and transfer the German expertise to the SCZone ports, and thus improve their world ranking.
