BERLIN - 11 Sep 2017: Chairman of the Suez Canal Authority (SCA) and Head of the Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZone) Mohab Mamish has made a tour of Hamburg city harbor, which is the second busiest port in Europe (after Rotterdam) and the 15th largest worldwide.

Mamish's visit comes within the framework of what has been agreed on with Berlin during the Egyptian-German economic forum, which was held in the German capital in June, according to a statement issued by the General Authority For SCZone.

Mamish will brief German officials and businessmen on the latest developments in projects being carried out in the SCZone during bilateral meetings.

He will also inform the German side about investment opportunities in the economic zone.

Mamish arrived in Hamburg on Sunday evening leading a high-ranking economic delegation.

He is expected to meet with representatives of major German companies working in the field of automotive, energy, small- and medium-scale enterprises.

He will also meet with Siemens top officials, members of the Arab-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Foreign Ministry Undersecretary Miguel Berger.
