Egypt, Gabon mull setting up wood processing factory in Libreville

CAIRO - 16 August 2017: Trade and Industry Minister Tarek Kabil agreed with his Gabonese counterpart on conducting a study to build a wood processing factory in Gabon, with Egyptian investments, to benefit from the good quality of Gabonese wood in catering for Egypt's lumber industry needs.

The Trade Ministry in a statement on Wednesday said that the Gabonese side selected a forest area to supply the factory with its needs of tree trunks to carry out the necessary technical processing at the factory
