U.S. dollar exchange rate inches down Tuesday

CAIRO – 15 August 2017: The U.S. dollar exchange rate slightly declined in Tuesday’s morning banking transactions.

The exchange rate of the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) for the U.S. dollar declined two piasters to register LE 17.71 for buying and LE 17.81 for selling, compared to LE 17.733 for buying and LE 17.833 for selling Monday.

The euro exchange rate continued fluctuations to register LE 20.89 for buying and LE 21.061 for selling, compared to LE 20.95 for buying and LE 21.082 for selling recorded Monday.

Meanwhile, the GBP (British Pound) declined to LE 22.98 for buying and LE 23.11 for selling, down from LE 23.07 for buying and LE 23.22 for selling in the prior day.
As for the Arab currencies, the Saudi Riyal stabilized at LE 4.723 for buying and LE 4.750 for selling, according to the CBE.

Meanwhile, the Kuwaiti dinar recorded LE 58.63 for buying and LE 59.08 for selling and the Emirati Dirham registered LE 4.822 for selling and LE 4.850 for buying.
