Bourse shows mixed performance at close of Wednesday trading

CAIRO - 5 April 2023: Egyptian Exchange (EGX) indexes showed mixed performance at the close of Wednesday's trading session, amid selling operations by foreign institutions and investment funds against purchases by institutions and local and Arab investment funds.

 

The market capital reached nearly LE 1.086 trillion, after transactions that totaled approximately LE 4.7 billion.

 

The EGX 30 benchmark index went up by 0.12 percent, closing at 17,019.25 points.

 

The broader EGX 70 index of the leading small and mid-cap enterprises (SMEs) rose by 0.02 percent, ending at 2,955.78 points.

 

The all-embracing EGX 100 index was also down by 0.08 percent, closing at 444.41 points
