EGX indices show mixed performance, benchmark rises 0.28%

CAIRO - 8 February 2023: Egyptian Exchange (EGX) indices showed mixed performance at the close of Wednesday's trading.

 

The market capital gained nearly LE 800 million, registering LE 1.070 trillion after transactions totaled approximately LE 3.6 billion.

 

The EGX 30 benchmark index rose 0.28 percent, hitting 16,948.08 points.

 

The broader EGX 70 EWI of the leading small and medium enterprises (SMEs) decreased 0.65 percent, recording 2,831.29 points.

 

The all-embracing EGX 100 index also declined 0.72 percent, closing at 4,277.88 points.
