He asserted the keenness on benefiting from the artificial intelligence technology in analyzing and handling data to contribute to determining the risks of each element of the exports operation to guarantee the quick release of goods and improve the quality products in the markets.

This came during Maait’s reviewing of the efforts exerted to develop the customs outlets and operate modern systems to manage them to contribute to transforming Egypt into an international logistics zone, facilitate the internal and external trade movement and decrease the average of custom clearance and release time.

In a statement on Saturday, Maait said that Egypt targets laying down an unprecedented approach in performance instead of the traditional policy via introducing a new system for risk management that has already been applied by Dekheila customs authority in Alexandria to contribute to releasing the goods without inspection via the “green track” process to simplify customs measures and quicken clearance time.
