CAIRO - 22 June 2022: CEO of the Saudi Fund for Development Sultan Al-Marshad asserted Wednesday that the fund is keen on working in Egypt especially in the projects of generating renewable and clean energy as well as food security.

He noted that the fund is willing to visit Cairo in September to inspect the fund’s projects in Egypt as well as inking a number of partnerships between Egyptian and Saudi companies.

This came during his meeting with Egyptian International Cooperation Minister Rania Mashat who noted that Egypt gives great attention to expanding renewable energy projects to reach green transformation, adding that Egypt had implemented a number of economic and structural reforms that contributed to implementing a number of immense projects in the country.

She also hailed the Saudi Fund for Development’s role to support the Egyptian projects especially those in Sinai.
